Statement of Faith

STATEMENT OF FAITH

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe that:

There is one God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;

Without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the

Word of God;

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is authoritative for our faith, conduct in life,

and worship;

Adam was created in the image of God. Adam sinned and brought physical and spiritual

death to all men through imputation. All men are born sinners in the sight of God and in need of salvation;

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, entered the world as man to become the Savior of men. As

Savior, Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, rose again, and ascended into Heaven;

We become children of God when we are born again by the Holy Spirit through faith in the Son of God, receiving the gift of eternal life and becoming members of His Church;

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, the Body of Christ;

The Lord Jesus Christ will soon return to take His Church to Heaven. Until Christ

returns, we should, in obedience to His commandments, through faith, be baptized by water, love one another, and continue to remember Him by observing the Lord's Supper.
